Achievements:
We are proud of the many achievements in our 53 year history.

We have introduced many pioneering ideas & methodologies to the Indian coaching scene. The very concept of imparting additional coaching to bright & academically gifted students can be attributed to Agrawal Classes. At a time when taking tuitions was meant for "weak" students and was a social stigma, Prof G D Agrawal bravely introduced the scheme to coach "good" students and made Agrawal Classes "Ideal for Scholars".

Many of the systems that are taken for granted now were initiated by Agrawal Classes. The concept of "Vacation Batches" i.e. asking a student to forego his School/College Vacation and instead devote it for learning was our creation. Having Air-conditioned classrooms in early 1960s was another such step.

In 1977 there were only a handful of Government institutions in India offering correspondence courses, that too for undergraduate studies. In that year, Agrawal Classes introduced the path breaking "Correspondence Course for IIT J.E.E." for students living outside Bombay. It became a run-away success and in 17 years of its operation (1977-1994) helped thousands of students across India find a seat at I.I.Ts. In the early 1980's over 55% of students entering the I.I.Ts were our students. The crowning glory was at the 1984 I.I.T. JEE when 84 of our students secured ranks within the first All India 100.

Agrawal Classes also gave birth to several entrepreneurs. Many of its Professors branched out to start their own institutions.
